Every piece of jewelry has its own process, especially so in the case of an engagement ring or wedding rings.  When designing such a custom piece we begin by having a short first call or e-mail correspondence, after which you are invited at the atelier to discuss more details. Together, we will establish initial design preferences, stones and metal, also I will ask you to answer a short questionnaire.

After we have our first discussion I can then create a series of hand-drawn sketches that follow all your preferences and my design style. You will also receive a quotation for each design and stone combination, as well as a time estimate.

 

As time is very precious, when designing a custom piece, please keep in mind that the sooner you contact us for a discussion the greater the chances of having a ring done on time for you. As such I require a minimum of 6 weeks before your intended proposal/wedding ceremony.

When we have agreed on a final design, metal and stone (if the case) I will give you a date at which the piece should be finalized. I will also send you an invoice for 65% advance payment of your given quote, with the rest of the payment to be made when the piece is finalized. Once the payment has been received I will start creating your custom ring.

As the creative process is ongoing  you will receive updates and photos with the progress. Once your order is completed we can set a time and date for you to receive your piece, be it by courier or personal pick-up at the atelier.
